role: concept/copy

I prompted Twitter to submit the names of fake startups so I could write ads for them in the style of NYC subway campaigns. The original post generated more than 3M impressions organically, with more than 2K replies submitted. The project was also covered by Digg and referenced in an episode of the Design Observer podcast (12:00 mark). The final designs were brought to life by art director Julie Vaccaro.
